CASA's humanitarian work across India since 1947 has created a wealth of institutional knowledge on community based disaster risk reduction and response. This includes use of appropriate technologies, participatory processes and sound developmental principles. This portal is a growing resource for learning lessons from various experiences towards betterment of future work, and creation of long-term capacity among CASA partners and in the humanitarian sector in general.
